Jacopo, Gentile and Giovanni: the amazing Bellini family

Jacopo Bellini and his sons Gentile and Giovanni brought the Renaissance 'style' to Venetian painting. This lecture looks at the Bellini studio, the new methods they used, their interaction with other artists and the ways in which the Venetian style developed.

Patsy Erskine-Hill was brought up in Italy, France and Switzerland and speaks four languages. She holds a 1st class degree in Italian from Trinity College, Dublin.
